Professional Experience

Kate Doub has worked as a professional fundraiser for over twenty-five years. She has experience as chief advancement officer in a diverse range of not-for-profit settings encompassing higher education, independent schools, and the arts and culture.

At the University of Wisconsin, Kate served in the dual capacity of Associate Director of the UWM Foundation and Campaign Director, where she was responsible for the oversight of all central Foundation staff as well as advancement personnel assigned to the ten schools and colleges of the University.

As Director of the Alumnae for Alverno College, Kate managed the College’s alumnae fundraising effort and its corporate sponsorship program. Her responsibilities as Deputy Director of Historic Mount Vernon included oversight of a $65 million campaign and of all fundraising for President Washington’s home. At St. Paul’s School (NH) and at Brooks School (MA), Kate managed comprehensive advancement programs.

Kate served as a member of the Marts & Lundy Board of Directors from 2003 to 2006. She is an active member of CASE and the American Association of University Women and has served on the executive boards of the AFP (Midwest), the University of Wisconsin Women's Association, and the Foundation for American Board Schools in Turkey.
