Kathleen Hanson first joined Marts & Lundy as Of Counsel in the Schools Practice Group bringing nearly 20 years experience at independent schools. In 2008 she joined the firm full-time as a senior consultant.
Prior to joining the firm full-time, Kathleen was at Baylor School in Chattanooga, TN as assistant head/vice president for advancement & external affairs. In this capacity, she directed development, admissions and financial aid, alumni relations, parent relations, communications, marketing and summer programs at the 1,068-student day/boarding school.
Prior to Baylor School, Kathleen served as director of institutional advancement at The Fessenden School in West Newton, MA, from 1994-1999. She was responsible for all development functions for the 550 boys day/boarding school, including a two-year, $8 million building fund.
Kathleen earned her bachelor's degree at the University of New Hampshire. She is an active consultant, volunteer and presenter at workshops and seminars.
