Professional Experience

Cathy returned to the Firm as a senior analyst in 2006 after five years working for her alma mater, Dartmouth College, where she served in a variety of capacities, including Associate Vice President for Planning and Operations (overseeing Donor Relations, Development Communication, and Information Resources) and Director of Campaign Planning (managing planning and preparation for Dartmouth's $1.3 billion campaign). Early in her career, Cathy was a development officer at Harvard University and a management consultant with Bain & Company. Most recently, Cathy was Director of External Relations at the Snelling Center for Government in Burlington, Vermont, and Director of Development at Crossroads Academy, an independent K-8 school in Lyme, New Hampshire.

During her first go-around at Marts & Lundy from 1989-1998, Cathy worked with clients in Electronic Screening®, conducted campaign readiness, benchmarking and feasibility studies, introduced the Firm’s constituent survey service, and served as a member of the management team and board of directors. In her new role with the Firm, Cathy is senior consultant as well as part of the Analytical Solutions team, bringing an "in the trenches" perspective to the tools, services, and innovations of this highly skilled analytics team.
