Board of Directors elects three members

Lyndhurst, N.J. (August 2007)–Marts & Lundy is pleased to announce the election of senior consultants Ilisa Hurowitz and Willard E. White to its Board of Directors. Ilisa and Willard were elected by the shareholders to three-year terms and replace senior consultants Ron Arena and Sandy Drew, whose terms expired. Shareholders also elected Betsy Cotton, CFO of TerraCycle to a three-year term as an independent director.

Ilisa Hurowitz joined Marts & Lundy in 2000 and leads the firm's Gift Planning Group. She has 20 years of development experience and has worked for the Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston, Harvard University and Wellesley College. Her most recent clients include the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research, AARP Foundation, and Boston Latin School.

Willard White joined Marts and Lundy in 2004 with 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector as a teacher, fundraiser, senior manager and consultant. His most recent clients include The Art Institute of Chicago, the John G. Shedd Aquarium, the Desert Botanical Garden, and Environmental Defense.

Betsy Cotton is the CFO for TerraCycle, a manufacturer of all-natural, eco-friendly plant food. Prior to joining TerraCycle, she was CFO and founding partner of Stratum Group, a privately capitalized partnership focused on financing small to mid-sized North American oil and gas companies.

"As an employee-owned company, Marts & Lundy has for many decades operated with a Board of Directors made up of senior consultants from amongst our ranks," said Bruce McClintock, who was elected chair for the second time last August. "During the past two years we have chosen to abide by the spirit of Sarbanes-Oxley and have added two independent directors to our board to provide the firm with the same objective, outsider opinion that we provide to our clients. We are very pleased to have Betsy join Scott Walker as one of our two independent directors and look forward to the vitality of their perspectives."
