Tim’s consulting career with Marts & Lundy began in 2008 following a 21-year career in Stanford University’s office of development. In 2009, Stanford asked him to return to serve as Vice President for Development at Stanford Hospital & Clinics. During this time, he continued with Marts & Lundy as an Of Counsel member of the firm. He re-joined Marts & Lundy as a full-time consultant in July 2011.

Tim began his development career in foundation and corporate relations during Stanford’s Centennial Campaign, the nation’s first $1 billion campaign. He later led the corporate and foundation program in the School of Engineering and served as a major gift officer in the central development office before joining the management team as Director of University Campaigns in 1998, becoming Assistant Vice President in 2004. He served as chief architect and campaign director for Stanford’s two most recent campaigns – the $1.1 billion Campaign for Undergraduate Education and the $4.3 billion Stanford Challenge. From 2009 to 2011, Tim led the effort to raise the funds required to build The New Stanford Hospital and related projects, which began early phase construction in 2011.

Prior to his career at Stanford, Tim practiced law in San Francisco for 8 years.
