Shirley Peppers didn't need any introduction when she joined Marts & Lundy as Of Counsel in April 2007. Many of her colleagues already knew the executive director of West Coast Development for Harvard University. "Her reputation as one of the nation's most effective fundraisers is well known by many," said Don Fellows, president and CEO of Marts & Lundy.
Shirley began her development career in 1974 as an annual fund officer for her alma mater, Stanford University. During her 32-year career, she served in development roles at Stanford, UCLA and Harvard. At Harvard's West Coast office, Shirley leads a department of seven staff members who focus on developing major gifts of $250,000 and above and principal gifts of $5 million and above.
Shirley also is a frequent speaker and effective leader. She will be a valuable member of the Marts & Lundy team.
