James F. Ridenour

Professional Experience

Jim joined Marts & Lundy in 1988. He entered the field of philanthropy in 1967 when he joined the development staff of his alma mater, Illinois Wesleyan University. He then became vice president at Western Maryland College and Berry College in Georgia. Prior to that he was in sales and management for twelve years with Armstrong Cork Company, now Armstrong Worldwide Industries.

An active member of CASE, Jim served on two national committees to develop management and campaign reporting standards published by CASE and NACUBO and has been a faculty member at several CASE and ACPRA conferences. He also served on committees for CAE and SACS.

Jim is active in the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland and served as Chair of its Development Commission. He has also served on Visiting Committees for Kanuga Conference Center and Illinois Wesleyan University. He is a lay reader and usher at the Cathedral of the Incarnation.
